Professional Fighters League [PFL] is quickly becoming the place to be for combat sports stars.
Earlier this year, YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul signed a multi-fight deal with PFL ahead of his MMA debut which is expected to take place in 2024.

On Tuesday, former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou signed an exclusive MMA deal with the promotion and confirmed his intention to debut next year too.
PFL CEO Peter Murray is delighted to have secured what he believes is the biggest signing in MMA history after snapping up the hottest free agent in sport.
“I’m very excited, obviously. This is the biggest signing in MMA history,” he told talkSPORT.
“We’re super excited about Francis Ngannou joining the PFL and being a real anchor of our PFL Super Fight Division, where he’ll compete in MMA exclusively. It’s a long-term, multi-fight deal.

“What’s also exciting is, Francis is a partner, he’s going to play a role in advancing and growing the sport around the world with PFL as he has a role in our athlete advisory board.
“In addition to that, Francis is going to play a role in PFL’s global expansion plan, he's a chairman and part-owner of PFL Africa. So, it’s a multi-faceted deal. It’s the most expansive and valuable athlete contract in MMA.”
The PFL boss assures more big signings are right around the corner.
"More to come! Believe me. More to come in athlete signings and regional league developments,” Murray added.
